Who can join?
Affiliate Membership
Individuals and organizations whose primary work supports the presenting of performing arts in Santa Barbara County. These members are not able to list in the weekly guide, but are eligible for all other PAL benefits including meetings, workshops and member discounts.
Presenting Membership
Individuals and organizations whose primary purpose is the staging of theatrical, musical or dance performances in Santa Barbara County are eligible for membership with approval by the board and upon timely payment of dues. Presenting members may list all performances in the PAL weekly guide.
Venue Membership
Not-for-Profit organizations whose primary purpose is to provide a rental venue and other support services for the staging of theatrical, musical or dance performances. Venue Members will receive six co-op ads per year, to be used at their discretion to support theatre, music and/or dance organizations that use their venue.

The Performing Arts Guide
Presenting members may list events in the weekly Performing Arts Guide published by SBPAL and the Santa Barbara Independent and Santa Barbara News-Press SCENE section. Widely available throughout the county, this attractive publication is an important resource for residents and visitors alike.
Vital-Signz
Vital-Signz is a new addition to cultural venues in Santa Barbara County. PAL members events are posted monthly. www.vital-signz.com
Quarterly Membership Meetings
On the last Wednesday of every third month, SBPAL members meet to share information, gather advice, make decisions and network with other members.
Spring Arts Luncheon
In March, SBPAL sponsors a luncheon featuring a keynote speaker who presents an informative talk to inspire and challenge us.
Complimentary Tickets
SBPAL members frequently make available free tickets for an array of excellent events to other members.
